First and foremost, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
No, I’m not working right now, I love what I do. I spent this Thanksgiving with some family and close friends. It was amazing!
What else is amazing? Kelsey. I l-o-v-e-d shooting her pictures. Can you blame me? This girl is gorgeous!

I received a phone call justa couple days before this photo shoot happened. A small hiccup with another photographer (we’ve all been there!) landed this family of fifteen people in front of my camera.
I haven’t even photographed this many people at once (other than staged wedding photos!), but I had an absolute blast!

Laura and Mike are an amazing couple! I met them nearly two years ago when they booked me for their wedding, so we had some time to hang out 🙂
Their wedding was gorgeous! I love fall weddings so much, and they decorated right into the colours and everything. The light, the weather, the timing… everything went so well!
Congratulations, you two!

Ah yes, The Bahamas. This Kansas City girl really does travel internationally… it’s not a lie. This past October I was fortunate enough to grab my fiance (Yes! This wedding photographer shall finally be walking the aisle herself!) and head to the Bahamas with friend and fellow photographer Chris Gharst and his wife.
I’m not going to lie… it was fun. While we did get a touch of rain each day it didn’t keep up from busting out our cameras for a few shots here and there.
We visited Nassua, Coco Kay (Royal Carribean’s private island), and Key West, FL. I loved each place for different reasons.
But really? This is a photography blog. I take pictures, I don’t write stories. So let’s get to it!
Oh, and as a fun addition… Chris Gharst is our wedding photographer so we were able to take a few engagement photos while we were on vacation!
You can see his website right here: Chris Gharst Photography
And here’s a shot from our session!
