Ahh, the beautiful Emily was back in front of my camera! She is stunning, no!? Emily has been on the blog before rocking some gorgeous gowns – you can see her here… and here.

We got together to do this shoot because I have an album on my Facebook full of photographs that inspire me. She found a couple she liked, too, and we went for it!

Boudoir! | Kansas City Boudoir Photography

I had the amazing opportunity to team up with a great set of people and make a little behind-the-scenes video for the boudoir portion of my business.

I love shooting boudoir, but since it’s such a private thing for some girls, it’s hard to show it off and grab more clients

Enter: Teisha. She’s been on the blog before and I absolutely adore her. Once we cleared the video idea with her husband we found a hair and makeup team and went for it!

Shana Nicole and Lora Wade did hair and make up (respectively) for this shoot and they did an amazing job (If you want – - they can be YOUR style team, too!)

Kansas City’s Next Top Model? | Kansas City Model Photography

I’ll admit it. I love America’s Next Top Model.

Tyra is crazy? Love it.
Nigel Barker is gorgeous? Love it.
Mr And Miss Jay? Love.
The photos at the end? Yes yes yes.

Well, for some crazy reason I decided I needed to re-do one of the ANTM’s group shots. In the middle of my wedding season. What!
I’ve been wanting to do this shoot for about a year, but I just never put anything on my calendar. Once I did… things were ready to go.

I ended up with 5 incredible women for my shoot, and an amazing hair and makeup crew.

The outfits? Fashioned by the models themselves. I handed them 2 yards of fabric and 7 safety pins. The rest was up to their imagination.

I can not even begin to tell you how much I loved doing this shoot. I was giddy with excitement once I saw things starting to come together!

J’s Everyday Fashion | Kansas City Photography

Many moons ago I went to high school with Jeanette… which has nothing to do with this. It’s simply how I met her
Jeanette moved to Florida and became quite the fashionista! She has a fantastic blog… which will lead you to all of her other social media. Check it!

I was fortunate enough that, for the brief moment in time that she was back in KC, I was able to get her in front of my camera AND she came to the Benefit for Boobies Fashion Show!

Shantel | Kansas City Model Photography

Mere hours before Benefit for Boobies was to take place (well, okay, the day before.) I had the opportunity to take photos of one of the models that was going to be walking for ATC. Kea dressed Shantel up, and off we went. Hair and Makeup was done by Pinkie Couture.

We only shot each outfit for about 10 minutes, but Shantel rocked it!

So, Teisha has made an appearance on this blog before… and I’m sure you’ll be seeing MUCH more of her (I already have something in the queue!), but she recently featured me on HER blog and that made me a giddy and had to get her in front of my camera!

Bentley | Kansas City Baby Photography

Amanda and I met about a year or so ago at one of those “model days” that I used to hold. This time she’s back and with a baby! They both looked amazing, and I was quite pleased to get them in front of my camera.

Bentley is a big boy! Just under 7 months old (when these were shot Feb 25,2011) he’s already in 9-12 month clothing! Love big babies!

Jessica Stockton | Kansas City Model Photographer

Once again, I had a wonderful chance to shoot some photos. Jessica and I have been wanting to shoot together for quite a while, and it finally happened! Our original idea didn’t work out, but she came to the rescue with some other ideas, and it all worked out quite nicely

After figuring out how to tape something to the ceiling, and her sewing her dress onto herself our shoot was on! She even brought along some Evil Pawn Jewelry and I was able to shoot that, too. A joy!

Sickly Sweet Designs | Kansas City Model Photographer

I woke up to a message one day reading, “We want to do a shoot. Crazy colors. Makeup. Featuring Sickly Sweet Designs. You down?”

Of course! So after Sarah (owner of Sickly Sweet) had all the details set up the shoot went down! It was cool that she took care of everything. It was a fun time hanging out with the models and chatting while they got their hair and makeup done. The shoot itself lasted an hour, and we rocked it! These girls know what’s up.

I’m sure that won’t be the last time they are in front of my camera, either!

Emily & Gown Gallery | Kansas City Wedding Photographer
